No more 42-cent stamps!
When we met with the city last week about the next phase of this program and other details, we were told that they had just received 29 complaints! Keep 'em coming! We are working on ways to ratchet up the heat on second offenders - the idea of sending an officer to the house with a stronger letter is probably not going to fly while the PD is laying off officers (3 last week; more to come, plus retirements), so if anyone has any ideas about what we can do to get tough on repeat offenders, please let me know. We are getting a count on repeats so we have ammunition to prove that we need to go to the next step.
