Planting a Sustainable Yard: The basics of Florida Native Landscaping Saturday March 21st, 9:00-10:00 am
With drought at a crisis level it's time to get serious about replacing our grass lawns with Florida native plants. Florida's own flowers and groundcover plants provide beautiful alternatives to the ubiquitous expanses of over-watered St Augustine grass. More and more homes throughout the city are adopting native landscaping and cutting down on their water usage as a result.
