To celebrate Black History Month, the St. Petersburg Museum of History combines Jazz, African American Authors and St. Petersburg pioneers in the local Black Media to headline the 4th Annual AfricanKenny Walker American Author’s Lecture Series. The 2009 theme is The Art of Communication." The program features Keynote speaker Kenny Walker of the Al Downing Tampabay Jazz Association and Norman E. Jones II African American author.
