The neighborhoods of Bartlett Park, Harbordale and Old Southeast are proud to announce they are hosting a block party on November 10th

This is to promote the local Community Resource Center and demonstrate their unified efforts toward fighting crime in the area.
When: Saturday, November 10 9:00am - 1:00pm
Where: Bartlett Park Community Resource Center

Schedule of Events:
9-11am Crime Watch Information
St. Petersburg Police Neighborhood Watch Officer Johnny Harris will be here with the police van to promote crime watch organizations and giveaway free clubs!
9-12pm Yard Sale
Tables will be set up in the the parking lot directly across from the Resource Center. Anyone wishing to promote their small business services or sell personal items will be charged a fee of $5.00 for use of a table. Neighborhood Associations, Crime Watch groups, churches, health services or social agencies will not be charged to promote their services. 10-11am Area Clean Up
Volunteer residents will pick up litter in surrounding area and post "no dumping signs”. Gloves, tongs, and trash bags will be provided by Keep Pinellas Beautiful
11am Blue Musician Sterling Magee performs! Longtime St. Petersburg resident Sterling Magee sings in a style that fuses blues with elements of soul, plays electric guitar with withering intensity, and uses both feet to stomp out the beat. Sterling has recently performed at the Resource Center and South Heritage National Night Out celebration. He is the subject of a new documentay film produced by Scott Balcerek. Since the 1950's Sterling has entertained millions of fans throughout the world and played with the likes of James Brown, King Curtis, Big Maybelle, George Benson, and U2.
12pm - K9 Demonstration
St. Petersburg Police Department will provide a demonstration of the valuable contributions made by K-9 dogs that support the officers and help make the community a safer place to live.
12:30pm - Raffle Winner Announced
Harbordale Neighborhood Association President, Theresa McEachen will announce the winner of fund raising raffle! We are currently seeking donated items to raffle off and raise money for future crime watch and clean up events. Please call Theresa at 403-6623 if you have leads on possible donations.
Food & Drink: Available throughout the day. We've already secured some donations from local establishments, however your ideas on additional vendors who may donate are welcomed!
Kids: Moonwalk & games for children will be made available throughout the day by the Leisure Services Department
